Family Vacation in Akumal

Staying a week in an Akumal villa is mandatory! My friends and I wanted to spend our spring holiday at the beach. One of them proposed us his holiday house in Akumal to stay since we haven’t found a hotel to stay in Tulum, which was our first option.

We didn’t knew what Akumal was, not even it’s location, but we all accepted renting his Akumal Villa and made plans to met there, since half of the party came from Venezuela and half from Mexico.

When I arrived Akumal I couldn’t believe where I was, it was some kind of a fisherman’s small rural town, combined with european-like province with a bit of Hawaiian/Caribbean mood.

We saw no huge hotels, nor insane spring breakers; the little town was filled with locals and friendly large tourist families. We adored Akumal since the instant we arrived there!

We headed towards Akumal Villa’s zone, and we were really amazed by the first class villas that we saw, but it wasn’t till we got to our villa that we genuinely started slobbering.

The vacation was our unexcelled favorite; since we had all types of adventures and practiced every water sport kind. The night life offered special and fun activities; from Playa del Carmen’s unusual night clubbing to seaside starry and sandy Akumal friendly bar.
